Tue, February 25, 2020 3:00 PM - Tue, February 25, 2020 4:30 PM at LookOut Gallery
Join RCAH Professor and Center for Poetry Founding Director Anita Skeen as she shows us how to use language and personal experience to take a closer look at the work of William Kentridge, currently on display in the LookOut Gallery. Kentridge combines text and image in fascinating ways which require us to exercise imagination, invent narrative, and rethink the ordinary. Join us to wander through this exhibit, find a work that speaks to you, make quick notes on your responses, prepare to write, then write. Participants will be invited to create a piece of writing, then share it with the group if they so choose.
This is a 90-minute workshop.
